In a high-profile ceremony that blended music, politics, and celebrity glamour, Hon. Natasha Osawaru-Idibia, Edo State House of Assembly member and wife of legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba (Innocent Idibia), officially joined the newly registered Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
The event, hosted by NDC National Leader Senator Seriake Dickson, welcomed a wave of defectors including Edo Assembly members, former Gombe Deputy Governor, activist Aisha Yesufu, and other notable figures.
