Nollywood star Frederick Leonard has found himself at the centre of online discussions after an old social media post from his alleged married side chick resurfaced.
The controversy began when actress Peggy Ovire publicly accused her estranged husband of having an affair with a married woman.
Peggy shared a video of Frederick Leonard alongside a woman identified as Angel Nikky, describing the pair as “shameless lots.”
Shortly after, social media users dug up a 2018 post allegedly made by Angel Nikky in which she openly expressed admiration for the actor. In the post, she compared Leonard to media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and praised both men for their appearance and charisma.

The lengthy post described Leonard as an “actor extraordinaire” and applauded his style and charm.

The issue gained traction after Peggy Ovire shared posts suggesting that her marriage to Frederick Leonard had broken down because of an alleged affair.
As evidence, she reposted a video showing the actor attending comedian Funnybone’s event in Lagos alongside the woman. Peggy also resurfaced a cryptic message she had posted earlier in February 2026, questioning whether any woman could remain in a marriage where her husband maintained a relationship with a married woman who was initially introduced as a friend.
Following the allegations, many social media users reportedly identified the woman as Angel Nikky and flooded her Instagram page with comments. Reports indicate that she later restricted or disabled comments on her account.
