Nigerian troops have recorded a significant victory in the ongoing fight against banditry and terrorism, storming and destroying a major terrorist hideout in Niger State in a daring operation that has disrupted criminal activities in the North-Central region.
The operation, carried out by troops of the Nigerian Army under the 3 Division took place at about 10:30 hours on 14 June 2026, targeted a well-fortified camp used by armed groups as a logistics base and operational headquarters.
