Veteran Nollywood actor Kola Oyewo, who recently passed away at the age of 80, once spoke candidly about a serious medical condition that changed his life.
In a 2024 interview with Kunle Afod, Oyewo revealed that he battled prostate-related complications after noticing difficulty urinating in July 2019. Following medical examinations and surgeries, doctors reportedly removed his testicles to save his life.
The veteran actor disclosed that the procedure left him impotent and unable to engage in sexual activity. He also explained that he urinated through a medically created bypass in his urinary tract.
Despite the health challenges, Oyewo said he felt much better after treatment and was still able to participate in movie productions.
