The family of Barrister Hannatu Musa Musawa, Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, has announced the death of her mother, Hajiya Fatima Ladi Binta Musa Musawa.
The announcement was made on Saturday, June 13, 2026, through a statement issued by the minister, confirming the passing of her mother and inviting the public to the funeral rites.
According to the statement, the Janazah (funeral prayer) will take place at the National Mosque in Abuja on Saturday, immediately after the Zuhr prayer.
The family described the moment as one of reflection and prayer, asking members of the public and the Muslim community to pray for the repose of the deceased’s soul.
In her message, the minister prayed for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness for her late mother, asking that she be granted Aljannatul Firdaus.
The statement also noted that the deceased was a respected family figure, and the family appreciated the messages of condolence received from sympathisers across the country.
