We were going about our normal activities when I was informed that some young women displayed inappropriate items. I was not aware of it.”“Such actions are against our culture and the teachings of Islam, and we strongly condemn them,” the Governor said.Recall that in 2016, Shehu Sani, who at that time was the Senator representing Kaduna Central, distributed one hundred thousand transistor radio sets in seven local government areas under his senatorial district.He said the gesture was to raise the political consciousness of the people and have more access to information on what is happening within and outside their localities.“We come from the part of the country where the major and most important source of information is the radio.“Radio is an empowerment, a form of education and enlightenment.
