Certain medications and medical conditions may also be linked to frequent leg cramps. If cramps occur regularly, are severe, or interfere with sleep, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for proper evaluation.

To prevent leg cramps, stay well hydrated, maintain a balanced diet, stretch your leg muscles regularly, and stay physically active. Wearing comfortable footwear and avoiding excessive muscle strain may also help.

Although occasional leg cramps are common, persistent or severe cramps should not be ignored. Taking simple preventive measures can help reduce discomfort and promote a more restful night’s sleep.
