Nigerian entertainer Korra Obidi has made another revealing statement about the collapse of her marriage, saying she discovered troubling videos after the relationship had already ended.
Speaking during an appearance on the One54 Africa Podcast, Korra reflected on her whirlwind romance, marriage, divorce, and the emotional aftermath that followed.
According to her, the relationship moved very quickly from the beginning. She explained that her former husband had asked her to move in with him just weeks after they met while she was living in China.
The romance later progressed into a traditional wedding ceremony in Nigeria before the marriage eventually ended.
Recalling events after the separation, Korra said, “After we got divorced, I found videos of my ex-husband kissing an 18-year-old girl.”
She did not go into extensive detail about the videos but suggested that discovering them added another painful layer to an already difficult breakup.
Korra explained that the end of the marriage came with emotional stress, public attention, and the challenges of raising children through co-parenting.
Known for her music, dance performances, and outspoken personality, the singer said many people only saw headlines online while she was privately dealing with heartbreak and family adjustments.
She added that motherhood remained her biggest priority through the turmoil. She has often spoken about the realities of parenting after divorce, saying co-parenting can come with unique struggles that many outsiders do not fully understand.
Despite the painful experiences, she said her children remain a blessing and a source of motivation. She also described them as a beautiful blend of cultures, representing both her African roots and their wider heritage.
