A 56-year-old man has died suddenly under shocking circumstances shortly after visiting his girlfriend’s home, leaving residents stunned and authorities investigating the incident.
According to reports, the deceased, identified as Geoffrey Mulenga, had spent part of his evening in the company of friends at a local drinking spot. Among those present was his 26 year old girlfriend, identified as Sharon Mwila. The group is said to have been taking alcohol before the two later left together.
After leaving the entertainment joint, Mulenga reportedly hired a taxi and accompanied his girlfriend back to her residence within the same area. What appeared to be a normal visit quickly turned tragic moments after their arrival.
Police reports indicate that the two proceeded to an outdoor toilet structure where they engaged in intimacy. However, moments into the encounter, Mulenga suddenly collapsed and became unresponsive.
Efforts to assist him were unsuccessful. By the time the matter was brought to the attention of authorities, the man had already died. Officers who arrived at the scene found his body lying on the ground with no visible physical injuries.
