Fake Agency: I Believe Prince Adeyemi Spoke Publicly Because He Wanted To Preserve His Own Life–Sani

Published

In a conversation on SYMFONI TV, PDP leader and former presidential adviser Alhaji Umar Sani indicated that Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi may have made his allegations public out of a necessity for his own safety.

Sani made this comment while addressing the controversy regarding the alleged establishment of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council. He referenced Adeyemi’s claims that a key individual involved in the situation had died under questionable circumstances and that there had been an attempt on his own life. He noted that if these claims are valid, the seriousness of the situation surpasses that of a typical political conflict.

He emphasized that these matters should not be dismissed as mere media speculation, but instead warrant a thorough investigation by the relevant authorities, advocating for a transparent and independent inquiry into the claims.

According to Sani, bringing these allegations to public attention altered the context of the controversy, making it more difficult for the issues to be overlooked. He stated that this public disclosure increases the pressure on government institutions to conduct credible investigations rather than relying solely on formal statements or dismissals.

“I think Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi chose to speak out publicly to protect his own life,” Sani explained, suggesting this motivation for the claimant’s decision to come forward.

He noted that airing the allegations publicly ensured that many Nigerians were informed about the situation, leading to heightened scrutiny of further developments due to the increased awareness.

Sani argued that the discourse should now be directed towards fact-finding through a meticulous investigation rather than media speculation. He insisted that investigators should look into every claim and all related documents.

He further stated that an independent panel would be better suited to assess the validity of the allegations, confirm official records, and determine if any criminal or administrative misconduct occurred.

In closing, Sani asserted that only a comprehensive investigation could clarify the allegations made by Adeyemi, emphasizing that findings should be based on verified evidence rather than competing public narratives.
