My Husband Left Me In Hospital And Said I’ll Die Because A Male Doctor Saw Me Naked – ASP Mary Onoja

Mary Onoja, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, has stated that she suffered serious medical complications after giving birth to her son through a Caesarean section

In an interview with Brekete Family, a human rights programme, Onoja stated that she underwent five surgeries and spent about three months at the hospital receiving treatment. She said her husband and his family abandoned her during the period.

Onoja said her husband and his family stated that she would die in the hospital because a male doctor had seen her nakedness. She added that she begged the doctor to save her life and promised to repay the bills herself

In Onoja’s words: “I stayed for about 3 months in the hospital at Lona City Care in Karu. That was where my husband and his family left me. They abandoned me and said that I was not going to survive and that a male doctor had seen my nakedness so I won’t survive it”
