Charles Omole, a lawyer and former National Security Adviser to former Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, has spoken about the difficulties allegedly faced by former First Lady Aisha Buhari during the administration of her late husband, former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Speaking during an interview with Edmund Obilo, Omole claimed that individuals within Buhari’s inner political circle allegedly had strained relations with Aisha Buhari while her husband was in office.
According to him, the former First Lady once disclosed that she believed she was facing spiritual attacks during that period.
Charles Omole further alleged that there was a time when concerns about her personal safety reportedly became so serious that Aisha Buhari temporarily left the Presidential Villa.
He stated that she was deeply troubled by some of the experiences she claimed to have encountered during her time as First Lady.
The remarks have since generated discussion online, with many Nigerians reacting to the revelations and revisiting conversations about internal power struggles and influence within the administration of Muhammadu Buhari.
