APC: I’m From Imo State, I Have Seen the Impact of What President Tinubu Has Done — Cubana Chief Priest Speaks

According to a report by The Cable on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Cubana Chief Priest has explained the reason behind his shift from online activism to active participation in politics.

The socialite said his decision was driven by the need to move beyond social media commentary and become directly involved in decision-making processes that affect governance and development.

Speaking during an interview on The Beat FM, the celebrity barman stated that years of making online posts and videos without seeing tangible results influenced his decision to pursue a more active role in politics.

He explained that social media engagement alone was not enough to drive the kind of change he desired in society.

Cubana noted that he believed his resources, experience and influence could be more effectively utilized within governance structures rather than remaining in the space of online commentary.

According to him, being part of the system would give him the opportunity to contribute more directly to policies and decisions that impact the lives of citizens.

He also addressed his political ambition following his participation in the All Progressives Congress primaries for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East federal constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

Despite not securing the party’s ticket, he dismissed suggestions that the outcome had affected his loyalty or commitment to the party.

He said, “I had to take a proper look at the achievements of APC in my own state. I come from Imo state. I see the contribution of what the president has done.”
