Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on Thursday paid a high-profile visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Kano State, where the former Nigerian leader is attending an official function.

Kwankwaso, accompanied by the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) governorship candidate in Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, visited Obasanjo at his hotel shortly after the former president arrived in the state.

The meeting between the two influential political figures has quickly generated nationwide attention, fueling fresh speculation about political realignments and consultations ahead of the 2027 general election.
