Rights activist Aisha Yesufu says her primary duty is to the people she represents, and she has no intention of backing down from that role.
Speaking on Arise TV, Yesufu made her mission clear. “My business is for me to represent my people and be their voices and ensure that every problem that they have is brought to the front burner, and not just put on the front burner but is also solved,” she said.
She also fired a warning at anyone hoping to silence her. “I’m not a walkover. That’s not something that I am. I wish someone would think that they’re going to sort of bully me in a particular way,” adding that picking fights with government officials is not on her agenda. “My business is not to go and be fighting the minister of FCT,” she stated.
