There have been several reactions from social media users after the governor of Abia state, Alex Otti released photos of the 1,200 housing units that were approved for construction in Umuahia, Abia state.
This was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
In the photos that surfaced online, the Abia state governor was seen with some contractors at the site.
Alex Otti stated that the project was initiated by the Abia state government and the Federal Government of Nigeria. Alex Otti, however, thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the project.
